About the Trainer

My name is Ariel and I am the founder of Ariel’s Canine Connection. I have been a passionate animal lover my entire life, but my true passion lies with dogs. I’ve had all sorts of breeds my entire life from a Pekingese to a German Shepherd and so much more! I have been training dogs for more than a decade from everything to puppy development, to training specialized service dogs, to troubleshooting behavioral problems, to simply helping people add some obedience to their beloved family companions and more! I successfully completed three months of rigorous training at Starmark Academy to become a Dog Training and Behavior Specialist, as well as working at a well known kennel and training dogs professionally for nearly eight years. I believe in using a balanced approach, relying on positive reinforcement to build and teach desired behavior and then introducing negative reinforcement to communicate undesired behavior while maintaining positive reinforcement to continuously reward desired behaviors. My dogs are both my life and my family and I love to build relationships with my clients dog’s and love them as my own. Nothing brings me greater joy when my client’s dogs are overjoyed to see me. A dog should love their trainer and if they don’t, the trainer either isn’t doing something right or it isn’t the right trainer for that dog. Dog training is never a one-size-fits all and often the original training plan may not be right for the dog, so dog training is all about adapting to the individual so that each dog can thrive and reach their potential!

My mission is to create a strong connection between you and your dog and maintain that lasting bond.

“Empowering dogs through training.”
